A Blogger with a Big Heart

A few months ago I started following Erica’s blog, PNW Rancher. Recently she did a post asking “What are you thankful for?” and listing out all the things she’s thankful for. Well I happened to read this post the morning after my truck broke down (for the 2nd time this year) and at the time I wasn’t feeling thankful for much and that came out in the comment I left. Instead I was feeling like my bad luck was starting to take over and get the best of me. So much has already happened this year that has been tough emotionally and I felt like I was just falling into “Darth Vader Darkness” (Quoted from Erica).

The next morning all that changed. I woke up to an email from Erica that made me so thankful  for caring people like herself. She read my comment on her blog and felt like a personal email was in order. She sent me some words of encouragement and let me know that she cared. This act of kindness from her made my day and really touched me deep inside. She didn’t have to take time out of her day to send me an email but she did! I’m extremely thankful for her email because it was exactly what I needed.
