Thank goodness for bad weather predictions. NC was suppose to get a “major snow storm” – major snow storm as in 5-6 inches of snow where I live – this weekend and luckily that didn’t happen. Not only was there going to be snow but they also predicted up to 1/2 inch of ice. Luckily, they were couldn’t have been more wrong. Not only did we not get near that amount of snow where I live but we also got zero ice. Zilch. Nada. I didn’t want snow or ice so I am extremely happy the weather people were wrong with the predictions.
We did get approx. 2 inches of snow which the horses have thoroughly enjoyed. Despite walking on snow high heels, they act like they are in snow heaven. Te is the only one who isn’t too thrilled but Jet, Grace and Rumor all ran around acting like nutty horses. Gracie and Rumor love it so much they can’t stop eating the snow off the well house, ha ha. Crazy horses!
So Tell Me..
Do your horses love snow too? Do they like eating it like mine do?

Weekend Cowgirl
March 16, 2016 at 2:53 pmWe did not have one snow this winter. Really missed it. Our animals are really not used to the snow as we do not ever get much. When we do we have to watch them carefully because they are simply not conditioned for the cold….
