Daydreaming

I have been doing quite a bit of daydreaming lately. The weather here hasn’t been that great for a little while and all it seems like it does is rain. It has rain so much that trails are nasty wet and my arena looks like sweet potato soup. Just when you get excited for a couple days of sunshine so that it can all dry up- boom! -rain again. Plus on top of having wet weather, I’m just not a winter person. I prefer warm weather and lots of sunshine.

I’ve been daydreaming about Spring and all the great things I’m going to get to do once Spring gets here and the weather starts to warm up. Like…

Drive the Tractor and Bushog the pastures. I LOVE doing this! (ok I know this is more of a summer thing but hey a girl can dream)

Driving the Tractor

Ride in my comfy saddle everyday

kelly kaminski barrel saddle

Ride my awesome horses

Equine photography

Finish the Stalls in the barn

Horse Stall front

Build my own version of a hay feeder for the pasture – no picture of this yet but will be once we build it 🙂
Hit the road and go to shows and trail riding

wild ponies mount rogers

Bathe my horses (This is probably the one I dream about most. OMG are my horses sooo dang dusty!)

What have you been daydreaming about lately?

Lol – well I will admit, after reading your blog for a few weeks now, I have been wanting to throw my English saddle on Gracie and jump some jumps. I am starting to miss Hunter Jumpers more and more. 🙂

I am so much NOT a winter person. It has been cold and yucky and not good rain, but the kind that just makes everything muddy, but does not really help. I worked hard in fall and got lots done, but I hate working in cold. We did get a few brush piles burned the last few weeks and now is the time I can start cleaning under trees, but hard to get motivated in cold weather!!!! I am really stoked for spring this year!! I have a long to-do list so better get on it anyway!
