Many Blessings Off The Track Thoroughbred Rescue

I was added to a new group on Facebook called Many Blessings OTTB. Spring Gates started this rescue with her sister to help keep TBs from going to slaughter when they are done racing.

I got Vinni from a TB rescue group in VA and have been so happy with him. He has been the greatest horse and has such a huge heart. He’s been to SC with me for a taping with Julie Goodnight, he’s been different places trail riding, I’ve even taken him to meet cows at the roping pen. I rescued him knowing he had tie back surgery but was healthy otherwise. His surgery has not prevented him from doing anything I’ve wanted to do and frankly it’s just made his life that much better. I know that there are many TBs with injuries that come off the track but there are plenty that don’t have any as well. I encourage you to check out this group and see what great horses they’ve come across. Maybe you’re interested in rescueing one yourself or maybe you know a friend that would like to. These horses need our help to survive and if we all tell just one friend and that friend tells another friend these horses are bound to find a forever home.

“Hi everyone! Just wanted to touch base on a few things! First and foremost, we are a Christian group and will do our very best to tell you everything we can find out about these horses. I will be completely honest and give you all the details i have been given about each horse. Sometimes these horses are on their way to the slaughter house and we have to take whatever info we can get which sometimes isnt much. We cannot give any guarantees or refunds so please be sure before sending payment. Also, the price listed is total …nothing else will be charged..in most cases it is just a shipping fee which is reduced if we can get 3-4 shipped at a time. That is the price listed. They will come with their JC papers and all current vet records. I will accept payment 2 wks prior to ship date and by check, money order or paypal(fees apply).
