How was your weekend? Did you do anything fun? I actually got to put my tack on my real horse and get it off the saw horse. 😀 After watching the Webinar a few weeks ago with Dena Kirkpatrick, I’ve just been itching to ride. Finally, the weather this weekend allowed for it to happen. I also got to drag my fields which needed it pretty bad. I’m so shocked it’s almost February and the grass is still as green as it is and we haven’t had the first lick of snow. What is NC coming too?
Check out these pics from my ride! Not to shabby for not riding in a few months but I could tell my legs were out of shape. (Wow can’t believe it’s been that long. I need tips on how to stay warm in the cold weather so I can ride more.) While I wanted to get on and ride for hours instead I just rode for 20 minutes. I didn’t even work on anything particular like I normally would. I just got on and rode him around the ring a couple times at a trot and canter than walked the barrel pattern a few times. I could tell he had enjoyed too much time off because he got in a small buck a few times and didn’t want to move his feet.
If I’m not on a horse then on a 4wheeler is right where I belong!

Yay for finally putting the saddle on again! 😀
Say “Cheese” pretty boy!
Ah HA! Busted taking pics of yourself..Yep that’s me waving so he knows I caught him. 😉 Tory took all the pictures I posted today. He did pretty good huh.
Did you get to ride this weekend? How do you stay warm while riding in winter?
